Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive Mexico City is seeking a Finance Controller who will manage all accounting activities, ensure internal controls, and present financial reports to the executive team. The role oversees budgeting and cost management, providing governance and insights for strategic decisions.

Reporting to senior leadership, the position requires 5+ years in finance or accounting, advanced English, and proficiency with Google Suite and MS Office; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a Finance or Accounting environment.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Extensive skills using Google Suite and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and communicate Budget / LE targets, assumptions, and strategic recommendations.
• Financial Reporting & Control: Review and control P&L reporting, overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial control activities (including KPIs, Gross to Net, NVOs, A/R, and A/P).
• Tax & Compliance: Manage tax preparation duties or liaise with external tax accountants to ensure compliance with all tax, permit, and licensing requirements.
• Process Governance & Strategy: Collaborate with the executive team to establish effective processes and controls, providing accurate financial information to guide policy-making and strategy.
• Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors by providing all necessary documentation and operational support.
