Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive, a global leader in consumer products, seeks a CBS Accounting & Reporting Analyst in Mexico City. The role anchors the Record-to-Report process, ensuring accurate, timely financial data across entities while supporting statutory reporting and tax compliance.

The role collaborates with tax, treasury, and audit teams to maintain SOX controls and drive process automation, leveraging SAP ERP and BPC as key tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / CPA is required.
• Two years of corporate accounting experience in multinational environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Month-End Close (MEC) under US GAAP with journal entries and accruals.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve aging/open items.
• Manage CBS intercompany service fee billing, invoicing, tax-stamping and collections.
• Support local tax requirements (SAT), VAT and ISR, plus regulatory filings (INEGI/Banxico).
• Prepare local statutory financial statements and assist external auditors.
• Enforce SOX controls and contribute to R2R automation projects.
