Ocean Network Express (ONE) is seeking a senior accounting leader in Mexico City to drive the integrity, execution, and compliance of accounting, tax, and treasury operations. You will lead AR, AP, accounting and tax teams, ensuring timely deliveries and IFRS/NIF/J-SOX compliance.

You will manage monthly/annual statements, tax obligations, internal controls, and staff development, while coordinating with auditors and ensuring timely close of SAP submodules each month.

Formación

• Experience leading accounting teams and delivering under pressure.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• Strong expertise in Mexican tax compliance and financial statements.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Proven people leader with ability to empower teams.

Responsabilidades

• Guarantee the accuracy, reliability, and timely delivery of monthly and annual financial statements, complying with local (NIF) and global (IFRS) regulations.
• Ensure strict compliance with all tax and regulatory obligations before SAT and other authorities.
• Protect the company's liquidity by ensuring efficient portfolio recovery (AR) and strategic management of supplier payments (AP).
• Maintain and guarantee a robust internal control environment, ensuring operations are 100% compliant with audit standards.
• Lead, evaluate, and develop reporting supervisors, fostering autonomy and a problem-solving-oriented work environment.
• Review, balance, and close financial submodules in the ERP (SAP) during the first days of each month.
• Approve complex journal entries, bank reconciliations, and depreciation or amortization calculations.
• Validate tax working papers, manage VAT refund procedures, and authorize payment layouts on banking portals.
• Review the accounts receivable aging report weekly and authorize commercial cargo blocks or releases for delinquent customers.
• Supervise the payment process, validate correct invoice coding, and ensure timely escalation with involved areas.
• Collect, sign, and deliver documentary evidence and risk matrices to internal and external auditors.
