PSC Industries in Mexico City seeks a Chief Accountant to ensure accurate, transparent, and timely accounting in line with local laws and IFRS. You will lead the year-end closing, coordinate audits, and enforce internal controls across the finance function.

The role requires a CMA or equivalent, at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong leadership, and SAP skills. You will report to Finance Manager and drive process improvements within a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Holds CMA or equivalent certification and valid accounting credentials.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a similar organization.
• Extensive knowledge of local tax regulations, GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong leadership and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient IT skills and ERP systems familiarity.

Responsabilidades

• Guarantees 100% compliance with local legislation (statutory accounting standards, IFRS, tax) and internal guidelines.
• Ensures accurate, transparent reporting of financial position, performance and cash flows.
• Coordinates year-end audit and liaises with external auditors to secure clean opinions.
• Manages AP/AR and bank reconciliations with proper segregation of duties.
• Prepares monthly/annual closings and statutory financial statements on schedule.
• Leads tax planning with HQ and external advisors.
