Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager in Querétaro, Mexico. You will lead employee and labor relations initiatives, guide managers on labor laws, and partner with HR leadership to strengthen engagement and policy compliance.

You will investigate complex cases, resolve grievances, and participate in negotiations with unions, ensuring fair treatment and risk mitigation across the manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressive HR, employee relations, or labor relations experience.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments is preferred.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong understanding of HR policies and Mexican labor legislation.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve complex and sensitive employee relations cases.
• Manage employee complaints, grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts.
• Partner with HR leadership to develop employee relations programs and best practices.
• Represent the organization in labor negotiations and grievance processes.
