Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Procurement Manager to lead a team of 6 buyers within the Chillers Product Business Unit. You will shape procurement strategy, drive cost, quality, and delivery, and partner with engineering, operations, and projects to accelerate growth.

This role requires a strategic leader with multinational experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex contracts while advancing sustainability and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain, MBA a plus.
Minimum 6–10 years in a multinational organization.
6+ years in strategic sourcing with direct materials.
Proven track record leading teams in a matrix environment.
Excellent communication and negotiation with supplier network.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 6 buyers and develop a high-performing procurement function.
Define and execute procurement strategy to optimize spend.
Provide end-to-end NPI procurement support for the PBU.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and quality with critical suppliers.
Drive continuous improvement and sustainability across global supply chains.
