Johnson Controls is hiring a seasoned Procurement Buyer to lead sourcing and supplier management in Reynosa. You will drive cost improvements, manage RFQs and negotiations, and align with R&D and Product Management on made/buy decisions, while maintaining ethical supplier relations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in procurement or related field with 6+ years of experience, plus SAP/Office proficiency and travel up to 20%.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years in procurement including strategy development and contract negotiations.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers for assigned categories.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Lead sourcing strategies and implement local programs at plants, distribution centers, and offices.
• Manage all steps in the sourcing process from RFQ to contract negotiations.
• Support Make/Buy decisions and cost modeling, including VA/VE activities.
• Negotiate terms and manage supplier performance and relationships.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive cost savings and value creation.
• Support compliance, reporting, and supplier risk management.
