Johnson Controls is seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement processes, ensure quality acquisitions at competitive prices, and manage supplier relationships. The role involves cross-department collaboration to forecast needs and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years in purchasing with 2+ years in management, and strong negotiation and ERP skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in purchasing software and ERP systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain. Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers. Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality or delivery.
• Purchasing Operations: Manage the purchasing team and oversee the purchasing process from requisition through receipt. Review and approve purchase orders and contracts. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations regarding purchasing.
• Collaboration: Work with various departments to assess their purchasing needs. Collaborate with finance to ensure budget compliance and cost control. Prepare reports on purchasing activities and provide insights to management.
