HSBC Global Service Center in Mexico City is seeking an experienced Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Substantiation Manager (BSRS) to oversee account certification and remediation efforts, ensuring accurate financial statements and regulatory reporting. You will lead BSRS governance, coordinate with auditors and regulators, and drive timely submissions across the organization.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting (mandatory).
Accounting background with 5–8 years of experience.
Audit experience and interaction with Finance units/auditors/regulators.
Lead with impact and strong negotiation skills.
Advanced quantitative and presentation skills; proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

Responsabilidades

Provide oversight of the Account certification process and remediation of findings to establish a long-term BSRS process.
Escalate and report exceptions to the Finance function through the monthly certification process.
Build BSRS governance and analysis, providing timely information to senior management.
Ensure accuracy of information in Financial Statements and regulatory reporting to external stakeholders.
Support development of close timetable and internal reporting timelines.
