HSBC in Mexico’s Global Service Center seeks an experienced Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Substantiation Manager to oversee the account certification process, remediation of findings, and governance of BSRS controls across the bank.

You will supervise teams, ensure timely financial and regulatory reporting to authorities such as FCA, BoE and PRA, and provide timely information to senior management while upholding strict accuracy and compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is mandatory.
• Experience in Finance units, auditors or regulators is required.
• 5–8 years of accounting experience is preferred.
• Strong quantitative and presentation skills with advanced Excel/PowerPoint
• Proficiency in English is desirable (B2 or higher).
• Ability to work with large data sets and complex models.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee account certification processes and remediation to establish BSRS governance.
• Identify and escalate exceptions through monthly certification cycles.
• Supervise BSRS reconciliation and substantiation activities across HSBC.
• Provide timely, accurate information to senior management and regulators.
• Support development of close timetables and periodic statutory reporting.
