Job summary

Zendesk in Mexico City is seeking a Senior Analyst in Strategic Finance & Analytics to lead decision support, provide insights for key initiatives, and deliver dashboards and forecasts for leadership.

You will partner with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Operations to define metrics, build SQL-driven analyses, and implement AI workflows that scale analytics across the business.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of analytics, BI, or strategy consulting experience.
• Strong SQL skills; Snowflake is a plus.
• Experience using AI and building AI workflows.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• BS/BA in computer science, mathematics, economics, or engineering; Masters is a plus.
• Previous SaaS experience is advantageous.
• Experience building financial models and automated reports/dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Regularly report findings and metrics to leadership to guide decisions.
• Perform analysis, build decks and dashboards to generate insights.
• Develop SQL queries and ad hoc analyses to understand trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align metrics definitions.
• Work with Enterprise Data and Analytics on requirements and analysis.
• Leverage AI to automate processes and scale the team.
