Clara is the leading spend management platform in Latin America, expanding rapidly with ~400 employees and strong investors. We are seeking a Staff Engineer to provide senior IC leadership, shape architecture across pods, and raise engineering standards—this is an individual-contributor role, not a people manager.

You will own cross-team architecture, define quality and security standards, collaborate on technical strategy, and mentor engineers while contributing code and leading by example.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack ability across data models, APIs, and UI.
• Experience with scalable microservices and cloud (AWS).

Responsabilidades

• Lead cross-team architecture and ensure system coherence.
• Set standards for code quality, testing, and observability.
• Mentor Senior and Mid engineers through reviews.
• Drive incident response and durable design.
