Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior UX Designer to craft UI/UX within Unreal Engine, translating design visions into functional specs and prototypes. You will define interaction flows, navigational structure, and component frameworks that scale across platforms and inputs, collaborating with engineers and UI artists to ensure feasibility and performance.

Qualifications

Three+ years of hands-on UI/UX experience delivering digital products or gaming interfaces.
Proficient in Figma with components, variants, auto-layout, reusable libraries, and engineering handoff documentation.
Ability to produce implementation-ready deliverables such as annotated screen designs, interaction breakdowns, state diagrams, and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

Outline UI flows, user journeys, and interaction models for features and screens.
Build and grow a reusable UI component framework with consistent patterns across design delivery.
Document behavioral details including focus navigation, back-navigation, input handling, error/empty/loading states, and edge cases.
Collaborate with client-facing engineers and UI artists to ensure designs are feasible and performant in Unreal Engine.
Lead improvements by reviewing builds and adjusting designs based on testing results and technical limitations.
