EPAM Systems seeks a Senior UI Artist to own the game's UI look and feel from concept through ship-ready implementation. You will collaborate with design and engineering to craft scalable UI systems across PC, console, and mobile.

You translate UX wireframes into high-fidelity mockups, build UI art directly in Unreal Engine (UMG, Slate) and develop materials, shaders, and style guides that reinforce a cohesive, accessible user experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a UI Artist role in games.
• Leadership to guide a UI theme end-to-end.
• Proven track record shipping UI across PC, console and mobile.
• Advanced Unreal Engine 5 with UMG, Slate, Material Editor.
• Strong UI/UX design, typography, layout and visual hierarchy.
• Proficiency in art tools including Figma.
• Solid understanding of optimization for real-time UI.
• Excellent collaboration with design and engineering.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2).

Responsabilités

• Drive the visual direction of the UI from concept to ship quality.
• Translate UX wireframes into high-fidelity mockups and style guides.
• Build final UI art in Unreal Engine using UMG and Slate.
• Create UI materials and shaders to reinforce a cohesive theme.
• Design menus, HUDs, icons, and UI motion aligned with gameplay needs.
• Author material-driven effects and lightweight Blueprint logic for UI.
• Optimize UI assets for performance across PC, console and mobile.
• Ensure accessibility and localization readiness of UI.
• Maintain UI asset libraries, style guides, and reusable components.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to iterate quickly.
