Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior UI Artist to shape the visual identity of immersive digital experiences across platforms. You will collaborate with designers and engineers to deliver polished visuals that captivate players.

Join a creative, cross-functional studio. The role emphasizes UI design, real-time rendering in Unreal Engine 5, and building cohesive design systems for menus, HUD, icons, and shaders. A strong portfolio and English B2+ are required.

Qualifications

Portfolio showcasing UI/UX visual design, texturing and icon creation.
3+ years as UI Artist or related art discipline, ideally in games.
Experience building UI in Unreal Engine 5 (UMG, Slate, Material Editor).
Strong typography, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy.
English fluency at B2 level or higher for cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

Transform UX wireframes into polished UI mockups and style guides using Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator.
Bring finished UI to life in Unreal Editor with UMG, widget animation, and materials.
Craft cohesive design systems for menus, HUD, icons, and shaders.
Develop original 2D/animated UI effects and basic Blueprint scripting.
Fine-tune UI assets for PC, console, and mobile; ensure accessibility and localization.
Maintain UI asset libraries and up-to-date style guides.
