Job summary

Softtek is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to craft AAA-quality UI experiences for games and applications. You will collaborate with UX, design, and engineering to transform wireframes into high-fidelity visual interfaces within Unreal Engine, including animations, materials, and UI components.

The role emphasizes creating design systems, game menus, HUD elements, and shader-led 2D effects while iterating quickly to meet milestones and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design.
• 2+ years collaborating on UI for interfaces from concept to final implementation.
• 2+ years implementing UI art in Unreal Engine (UMG) or similar.
• Experience in front-end development for responsive interfaces.
• Ability to optimize and debug shaders and iterate quickly.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with UX designers to craft features, systems, and experiences with high-fidelity mockups and design systems.
• Work with UX, Technical UI Design, and Engineering to deliver AAA-quality UI experiences.
• Turn wireframes into functional visual interfaces, improving UX through design.
• Implement final UI art in Unreal Editor using UMG, animations, materials, and components.
• Contribute to design systems, menus, HUDs, icons, materials, and shaders; create 2D effects.
• Create new materials, implement basic logic with Blueprints, and develop 2D effects.
• Help deliver high-quality features within established timelines.
