Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a UI Technical Designer to translate UX/visual direction into UI specs and Unreal Engine prototypes. You will bridge design and engineering, defining flows, navigation rules, and component standards across platforms.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers and artists, documentation-heavy deliverables, and awareness of Unreal UI constraints and multi-input navigation. This is a dynamic, global team role based in Mexico.

Qualifications

• Solid UI/UX foundation with 2+ years of experience in digital products or game UI.
• Confident proficiency in Figma (components, variants, auto-layout, handoff-ready docs).
• Ability to create implementation-ready documentation: annotated layouts, interaction notes, state diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to UI flows, user journeys, and interaction models for in-game screens; produce clear specs.
• Help build and maintain a UI component system that supports consistent implementation.
• Document behavior rules: navigation/focus order, back behavior, input handling, edge cases.
