Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a UI Tech Designer with 5-7 years of professional experience in a game development setting. Based in Mexico, you will design UI systems in Unreal Engine 5, break features into reusable widgets, and prototype UX for shipped experiences.

Collaborate across art, UX, and engineering to ensure responsive, high-quality interfaces. You will write Blueprint logic for presentation, optimize UI performance, and contribute to decisions on Blueprint vs native code.

Qualifikationen

• 5-7 years of professional UI/UX design or hybrid design/engineering experience in games.
• Deep, hands-on Unreal Engine 5 (UMG, Slate, Blueprints) experience to build shipped UI screens and flows.
• Strong understanding of style sheets and applying them consistently across screens.
• Experience designing navigation flows and screen-to-screen relationships in live products.

Aufgaben

• UI Systems Design: break features into widgets, structures and classes; design reusable widgets
• Prototype UX/visual designs; translate design needs into technical requirements for programmers
• Ensure player input is mapped, responsive, and has appropriate game feel
• Own UI performance: profile cost of UMG/Slate/Code memory usage; optimize without programmer help
• Write Blueprint logic for presentation behavior; collaborate on what belongs in Blueprint vs native code
• Documentation and workflow improvements for UX, UI Art, and UI engineering
• Support internal UI systems including Verse and UEFN for complex theming
