Job summary

Teamswell is a high-growth nearshore outsourcing company serving US clients. We are seeking a Senior Controller / Strategic Financial Advisor to oversee day-to-day financial operations and to act as a trusted strategic partner to the CEO in Mexico.

The role requires 7+ years in accounting/finance, strong GAAP knowledge, and the ability to challenge assumptions with clear financial guidance. Bilingual communication is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance.
• Ability to connect financial data to business strategy.
• Solutions-first approach to fix issues, not just report them.
• Strong communication to translate financial complexity for non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close processes.
• Manage A/P, A/R, payroll coordination, reconciliations, internal controls.
• Build rolling budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models.
• Partner with CEO on strategic and operational decisions with clear analysis.
• Identify risks and opportunities and propose actionable solutions.
• Develop dashboards showing margins, cash position, and unit economics.
• Support pricing, vendor, and cost-structure decisions with financial analysis.
