Prolific is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Mexico City to help shape our human data infrastructure for AI development. You will contribute across frontend and backend, with a bias for product impact and rapid iteration.

You will collaborate in a cross‑functional team, work across AWS, GCP, and Azure, and advocate for quality through test automation and observability. Remote work options are not specified, apply to join a mission‑driven team.

Qualificações

• Deep understanding of modern web applications.
• Experience building Typescript/Javascript applications and using NoSQL databases.
• Experience using Python.
• Knowledge of Event‑Driven Architecture.
• Experience using AWS (Serverless) and/or GCP.
• Understand the importance of driving quality into code through test automation.
• Have supported applications in production with observability practices (e.g. monitoring).
• Have worked in a collaborative environment with strong engineering practices.
• Care about the product life cycle and are customer value focused.
• Understand data-driven, iterative improvement and feedback culture.

Responsabilidades

• As a member of a cross‑functional team, you will work with the engineering manager, product manager, designer, and 4‑5 other engineers, including a tech lead.
• Using agile software development practices, you will plan, build and support software that customers love.
• Be highly self‑motivated and energetic in a fast‑paced environment with a bias for action.
• Collaborate with teams outside of product engineering, and work closely with customers to understand needs.
• Be happy working in AWS, GCP & Azure cloud environments.
• Embrace You Build It, You Run It mindset with deep production knowledge from code to operations.
• Support production systems with monitoring tools such as DataDog.
• Strive for stable systems and observability.
• Champion engineering culture and push for growth-minded initiatives.
• Continuously improve value delivery and product outcomes.
