Job summary

Allied Global Technology Services is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to build mission-critical software powered by modern technology and AI.

You will design features with .NET/C# and PostgreSQL, lead tests, troubleshoot production issues, and mentor peers while integrating AI development tools and ensuring quality across distributed teams.

Work is on-site in Mexico City at start, transitioning to remote with occasional on-site as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with .NET/C#
• Strong PostgreSQL experience including schema design and query optimization
• Experience building and supporting scalable production systems
• Strong practice of automated testing
• Experience owning production systems and debugging live incidents
• Daily experience with AI-powered development tools and validating their output
• Strong written and verbal English communication for distributed teams

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable features using .NET/C# and PostgreSQL.
• Build and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the technology stack.
• Use AI development tools for coding, testing, code review, and debugging.
• Review and validate AI-generated output before production.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote responsible AI use.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decisions.
