Lyft’s Luxury team seeks a senior software engineer to build features for Black and other upmarket rides, ensuring quality and scalable systems within the ride-sharing ecosystem. You will own projects end-to-end and collaborate with engineering, product, data science, analytics, and operations to deliver impact.

Preferred candidates will work from our CDMX office, joining a team that values ownership, initiative, and knowledge sharing across functions to delight passengers and drivers alike.

Formación

• Experience with object-oriented programming.
• Experience in distributed systems.
• Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Ability to write clear, scalable design documentation.
• Ability to lead and own large projects end-to-end.

Responsabilidades

• Help establish roadmap and architecture based on technology and understanding of customer needs
• Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge
• Share your knowledge by giving brown bags, tech talks, and promoting appropriate tech and engineering best practices
• Can help lead large projects from idea to positive execution
• Unblock, support and communicate with internal partners to achieve results
