Lyft is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Privacy team. You will design and build systems that make privacy the default, partnering with engineering, product, legal, and compliance on high-impact projects from data redaction to privacy rights management.

You will lead large projects end-to-end, write clean, scalable code, review others, and help shape privacy by design across Lyft's services, while mentoring teammates and exploring new technologies responsibly.

Formación

• 5-7 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language (Python/Java/Go).
• Experience with distributed systems and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain systems that enhance privacy across the organization.
• Independently lead large projects from idea to execution.
• Advocate for user privacy and engage with Compliance, Legal, Product, and Infrastructure teams.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Share knowledge through talks and be a proponent of privacy-by-design in products and processes.
