Lyft is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer for the Privacy team in Mexico City. You will design and build systems that make privacy the default, partnering with engineering, product, legal, and compliance on high-impact projects.

You will contribute to data redaction pipelines, support users’ privacy rights, and deploy privacy controls across Lyft services. Strong coding skills and a passion for privacy are essential.

Formación

• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go).
• Proficient in at least one query language (SQL, Cypher, MQL, PL/SQL).
• Familiarity with distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Experience with ETL tools like Airflow or Spark is a plus.
• Experience with privacy or security engineering is advantageous.
• Ability to document designs clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work with ambiguous requirements and deliver deployable solutions.
