Lyft is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our Privacy team. You will design and build systems to make privacy the default, collaborating with engineering, product, legal, and compliance to protect driver and rider data.

You will contribute to data redaction pipelines, privacy rights tooling, and scalable data-management systems across Lyft services, leading important projects from idea to execution.

Formación

• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Experience with at least one operational or analytical data system (e.g., DynamoDB, Aurora, Redis, Databricks).
• Proficient in SQL or other query languages.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Ability to write design documentation and learn new tech quickly.
• Comfort with ambiguity and delivering deployable solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Write well-crafted, tested, and maintainable code.
• Partner with teams across Lyft on privacy initiatives.
• Design and maintain systems that enhance privacy and data protection.
• Lead tasks independently from idea to execution.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to governance and risk mitigation related to privacy by design.
