Delinea is seeking a Senior Software Engineer: AI Gateway to join our hybrid team in Mexico City. You will enhance AI security features in the access proxy and extend capabilities into the Delinea Platform, collaborating with designers, customers, and cross-functional teams.

We value deep backend expertise, experience with proxies/gateways, and proficiency in Go, C#, Java, or Rust. You will help ensure a secure, scalable platform while delivering value to global customers.

Formación

• 8+ years building production backend or networking systems.
• Hands-on experience with proxies, gateways, API gateways, or similar traffic-control systems.
• Strong skills in a modern backend language such as Go, C#, Java, or Rust.
• Experience evolving a product across releases, including moving capabilities between systems.
• Ability to work on complex problems with limited direction and make sound design trade-offs.

Responsabilidades

• Build new AI security features into our access proxy product.
• Treat protocols such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) as enforcement boundaries and build controls for agent-to-agent communication.
• Connect that product to the Delinea Platform and prove the experience with design and paying customers on live capability.
• Move those features into the Delinea Platform as the product matures, keeping customers running smoothly during the transition.
• Enforce just-in-time access and policy decisions in the request path, drawing on the platform's identity and authorization building blocks.
• Partner with product and with the teams building the platform's proxy and access engine.
