Job summary

Delinea is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate the secure JIT proxy and cloud services behind our product. You will contribute to protocols like SSH, RDP, Kubernetes, and database connections, focusing on reliability, security, and performance.

You will work on distributed systems, learn new technologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, reporting to the engineering manager on the JIT Proxy team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend/distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud providers and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain highly concurrent services for just-in-time access.
• Extend proxy capabilities across SSH, RDP, Kubernetes, databases, and more.
• Develop distributed systems enforcing tenant policy and data security.
• Deploy and operate cloud services on Kubernetes and Azure.
• Write clean, secure, well-tested software focused on reliability.
• Collaborate with architects, PMs, and partner teams from design to production.
• Diagnose connectivity, protocol, security, and performance issues.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to reviews and engineering practices.
