Job summary

Delinea is seeking a senior backend engineer in a hybrid Mexico City setup to help build our data analytics and alerting stack. You’ll work across a complex microservice ecosystem to deliver cohesive data analysis, enrichment, and BI capabilities for the Delinea platform.

You’ll partner with architects, product managers, and DevOps to ensure secure, scalable data flows, observability, and reliable deliveries. The role reports to the engineering manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of backend development experience in Python, C#, or other similar language.
• Experience with cloud platforms Azure and/or AWS.
• Familiarity with microservices and container orchestration Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining relational and NoSQL databases (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for Azure Cloud; CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and help develop, test and maintain secure microservices, data aggregations, data models, alerting, and analytics.
• Familiarity with data warehouse / analytics architecture patterns.
• Leverage data stores including Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Use technologies like Python, Go, C#, Terraform, REST APIs.
• Orchestrate complex data flows near time and post aggregation.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and DevOps to define roadmaps.
