Delinea is seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer in Mexico City to design, build, and operate backend services powering the Delinea Platform. You’ll architect RESTful APIs and background workers using the latest .NET, deploy them in Kubernetes on Azure, and influence service-to-service communication across internal systems.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with .NET (C#) and recent framework versions.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and background services in production.
• Hands-on Kubernetes deployment and operation, including manifests and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native deployment models.
• Strong microservices architecture and inter-service communication knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration in Agile teams.

This position is hybrid in Mexico City (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) at our office in Reforma.

Job Summary

This position is on the Governance Engineering team, where you will design, build, and operate the back‑end services that power the Delinea Platform. As a Senior .NET Software Engineer, you will architect and deliver RESTful APIs and background workers using the latest version of .NET, deploy and manage those services in Kubernetes on Microsoft Azure, and drive the design of service‑to‑service communication across Delinea’s internal systems. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you’ll have a strong voice in technical decisions and help shape the future of the Delinea Platform.

What You’ll Do:

• Architect, develop, test, and maintain high‑quality .NET services, including RESTful APIs and background workers, ensuring alignment with Delinea’s cloud and security architecture standards.
• Own the deployment, configuration, and operational health of services running in Kubernetes on Microsoft Azure, including resource management, scaling, and observability.
• Design and document service architectures for systems that communicate across multiple internal Delinea services, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and DevOps teams to define system roadmaps, establish API contracts, and drive technical decisions from design through production.
• Conduct code and design reviews, reinforcing best practices in distributed systems, security, and software quality.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions to enable consistent, automated deployments.
• Leverage AI‑driven development tools and coding agents to accelerate delivery and improve engineering productivity.
• Mentor engineering peers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on .NET (C#) and the latest .NET framework versions.
• Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs and background services in production environments.
• Hands‑on experience deploying and operating services in Kubernetes, including writing manifests, managing workloads, and troubleshooting cluster issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure, including Azure‑native services, cloud‑native deployment models, and infrastructure best practices.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems design, and inter‑service communication patterns.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to thrive in an Agile team environment.

We’d Love to See:

• Experience with AI‑driven development practices, including the use of AI coding agents such as Claude, Codex, or Cursor to accelerate development workflows.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform for provisioning and managing Azure resources.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog or Grafana, and experience implementing structured logging and distributed tracing.
