Delinea is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to StrongDM’s modern identity security platform. You will design, develop, and deploy highly concurrent Go services that proxy and broker secure connections at scale, ensuring least-privilege access and thorough auditing.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer focusing on Go, distributed systems, and backend service development.
• Proficiency with goroutines, channels, and Go’s standard networking/crypto libraries.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, network protocols, and API design (gRPC/Protobuf and REST).
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS or similar) and cloud-native deployment models.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a structured team environment.
• Willingness to mentor others and participate in code reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, design, develop, test and maintain highly concurrent, distributed backend systems in Go.
• Build and operate the proxy data plane (gateways/relays) and control-plane services using CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers and DevOps/SRE to define roadmaps and deliver software solutions.
• Write secure, idiomatic Go code and implement secure network protocols and credential brokering.
• Conduct code and design reviews focusing on performance, security, maintainability, and quality.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across multi-cloud environments and production systems.
• Prepare documentation for services, APIs, and deployment processes.
• Provide technical mentorship to peers and foster continuous improvement.
• Learn and apply best practices in software engineering, security and DevOps.
