Fulcrum Digital is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the BizOps team on a global payments technology engagement. The role focuses on automating and strengthening operational reliability across development, QA, release, and product groups.

You will work across a distributed team, improving incident response, capacity planning, and continuous delivery, while mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices in a fast-paced enterprise setting.

Formación

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding.
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, scripting, pipeline management, and software design.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, and Chef.
• Proficient in one or more languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Engage in and improve the full lifecycle of services — from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
• Analyze ITSM activity across the platform and feed back operational gaps or resiliency concerns to development teams.
• Support services before go-live through system design consulting, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
• Maintain live services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
• Scale systems sustainably through automation, and drive changes that improve reliability and velocity.
• Support the application CI/CD pipeline for promoting software into higher environments through validation and operational gating, and lead DevOps automation and best practices.
• Practice sustainable incident response and blameless post-mortems.
• Take a holistic approach to problem-solving, connecting the dots across the technology stack during production events to optimize mean time to recovery.
• Collaborate with a global team spread across multiple tech hubs and time zones.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior team members.
