Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Site Manager to oversee major commercial construction projects in Zapopan, Jalisco. Lead on-site activities, coordinate diverse teams, ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery on complex developments.

The role requires a civil engineering-related degree, 10+ years of site supervision and PM experience, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Collaboration with clients, architects, and authorities is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive site supervision and construction project management experience in commercial projects
• Proven track record delivering large-scale commercial construction projects
• Deep knowledge of construction methods, codes, safety, and quality standards
• Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6) and construction technologies
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and resolve conflicts
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Willingness to work on-site in Zapopan, Jalisco

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all site construction activities per plans and schedules
• Supervise site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on site
• Manage resources (labor, materials, equipment) for efficiency and cost control
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and implement timely solutions
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and regulators for smooth execution
• Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship and materials
• Oversee site logistics, including storage, equipment deployment, and security
