Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Regional Engineering Manager for El Salto, Jalisco, to lead engineering and maintenance across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties. You will balance hands-on expertise with strategic oversight, manage budgets and vendor relations, and ensure safety, compliance and asset integrity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in senior engineering roles (e.g., Chief Engineer/Engineering Manager).
• Knowledge of utility management, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems in commercial properties.
• 5+ years leading an engineering/maintenance team (hiring, training, coaching).
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and EPA regulations.
• EPA/CFC certification and related compliance credentials.
• Operating Engineer license or equivalent (as applicable).
• Fully bilingual English/Spanish with strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop engineering teams to high performance.
• Direct property management and territory leaders; coach regional and site managers.
• Provide regional technical leadership for reliability, service delivery, and issue resolution.
• Identify and implement preventive maintenance and energy-saving measures.
• Support new business opportunities, including proposals and staffing.
• Oversee building systems within budgetary constraints and drive cost efficiency.
• Ensure safety codes compliance and conduct training as needed.
