Nextpower is seeking a Project Engineer to support global PV projects from Mexico City onsite. You will work with engineers and designers across the US, India, and Mexico to drive design and construction activities for utility-scale solar deployments.

You will develop tracker layouts, conduct site assessments, and apply drafting standards while contributing to project quotations and execution. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced, multi-region environment.

Formación

• BS in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Provide design support to develop tracker layouts, CAD blocks, mechanical sets, and full construction plan sets.
• Review site information, design inputs, and assist in selecting appropriate product types based on site conditions.
• Collaborate with engineers in India and our US teams to update product configurations and drafting standards.
• Conduct value engineering exercises to lower costs on individual projects.
• Coordinate with Designers in other regions to create/update product standards and address project issues.
• Learn topography and hydrology analysis to determine tracker placement and optimize layouts.
