Job summary

Prologis is seeking an ambitious Energy Program Director in Mexico to lead our energy portfolio and drive renewable energy solutions for our customers. You will oversee project development, financing, and regulatory coordination across the LatAm region.

With 10+ years in energy and a strong background in energy markets and modelling, you will collaborate with global energy professionals and report to the Head of Energy Solutions Mexico.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; MBA or quantitative master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years in energy project development, markets, trading, power contracts, regulations, or renewable development.
• Strong understanding of electricity markets, tariffs, renewables, and environmental commodities.
• Strong quantitative and financial modelling skills.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Proven commercial negotiation skills.
• Full knowledge of the Mexico energy market and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with utilities, suppliers, planning agencies, and renewable OEMs.
• Knowledge of energy management and decarbonization strategies.
• Demonstrated innovation, collaboration, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Originate energy projects across LatAm with regional leadership.
• Lead project development initiatives and cross-functional teams.
• Coach and oversee financial modeling and KPI tracking for energy programs.
• Drive renewable energy strategy and 100% renewable solutions for customers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and third-party providers.
• Develop enrollment and value propositions for 100% renewable electricity.
• Coordinate with OnPrem energy, Mobility and Data Center teams.
• Manage EPC vendors and contract management for solar systems.
• Engage with government entities such as CFE, CENACE, and regulators.
• Report on KPIs and operating metrics using Salesforce/SiteTracker.
