Cummins Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst for the Payroll team in San Luis Potosí, MX. The role supports US multi-state and Canadian payroll operations, ensuring accurate calculations, timely processing, and strong internal controls.

The candidate will collaborate with Finance and HR, assist with system changes, testing, and continuous improvement, and coach junior staff while maintaining compliance with tax requirements.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of progressive payroll experience for US multi-state employers
• Experience with payroll calculation, processing, validation and issue resolution
• Ability to document system configuration requirements and write test scripts
• Knowledge of federal/state/local tax requirements and payroll rules across jurisdictions

Responsibilities

• Support US multi-state and Canadian payroll operations.
• Execute and validate payroll activities per schedules and controls.
• Review pre-/post-payroll results to resolve discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot complex payroll data issues and inquiries.
• Provide guidance to payroll team to meet deadlines.
• Support UAT and system configuration changes for payroll.
