Chemours is seeking a Sr. Payroll Analyst to join our People team at the Altamira Plant in Mexico. The role manages end-to-end payroll cycles biweekly and monthly, ensuring compliance across state and federal requirements and coordinating with Finance, Benefits and HR.

You will analyze payroll data, resolve system issues, participate in SOX controls, and support year-end activities while maintaining strong English communication with teams across the organization.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years of end-to-end payroll processing in a large multi-state organization.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups.
• Solid knowledge of payroll-related state, tax, and compliance requirements.
• Understanding of accounting basics: journal entries and reconciliations.
• Experience with decentralized payroll processes and SOX controls.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Administer end-to-end payroll processes for biweekly and monthly cycles.
• Ensure compliance for exempt and non-exempt populations, including garnishments and bonuses.
• Analyze payroll data, resolve system issues, and research solutions.
• Identify and implement payroll process improvements and standards.
• Maintain payroll files per law and policy; respond to information requests as needed.
• Assist in establishing procedures and troubleshooting payroll problems.
• Oversee audits of payroll processes for compliance with policies and laws.
• Collaborate with Finance, Compensation, and Benefits; support cross-functional requests.
• Assist in audits including SOX controls; enter stock options and RSUs as needed.
• Participate in system upgrades testing and payroll year-end activities.
