Job summary

Koch invites a Payroll Analyst to join our Mexico payroll team, driving end-to-end processing across multiple entities and populations. You will ensure accuracy, timely delivery, and strong controls while collaborating with HR, Tax, Finance, and external providers.

You will handle weekly/biweekly cycles, resolve data variances, and support year-end adjustments, tax filings, and labor compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with complex, end-to-end payroll processing in Mexico.
• Working knowledge of payroll calculations, taxes, benefits, Mexican labor requirements, and social security obligations.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to analyze information, complete reconciliations, and work with datasets using formulas, filters, lookups and pivot tables.
• Experience using payroll or time‑and‑attendance systems such as Eslabón, Kronos, SAP, TREES or RH7, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Execute accurate and timely weekly and biweekly payrolls for assigned employee populations, legal entities, and business units.
• Validate payroll inputs, employee data, time and attendance records, earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefits; investigate and resolve exceptions before payroll close.
• Process special and annual payroll activities, including terminations, severance, profit sharing, Christmas bonus, savings fund, food vouchers, and applicable year-end adjustments.
• Complete payroll, tax, payment and accounting reconciliations; prepare accruals and journal entries and support monthly close activities.
• Support compliance with applicable payroll, labor, tax, and social security requirements, including SAT, payroll CFDI, ISR, IMSS, INFONAVIT, and FONACOT.
• Partner with Human Resources, Finance, Tax, Benefits, site teams, and external providers to resolve payroll matters, support audits, strengthen controls, and improve payroll processes and systems.
