Novelus is seeking a Senior Packet Core & Policy Control Engineer to lead design, implementation, and optimization of Packet Core services across SGW, PGW, SPGW, and PCRF in LTE/EPC environments. The role spans migration, troubleshooting, and cross‑vendor coordination for mobile broadband, VoLTE, VoWiFi, and IoT connectivity.

Formación

• Extensive EPC/LTE Core experience required.
• Experience with SPGW/PGW/SGW and PCRF.
• Strong multi-vendor deployment and incident management.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and migrations.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, configure, and optimize Packet Core services across SGW, PGW, SPGW, and PCRF.
• Manage the APN lifecycle including creation, configuration, migration, consolidation and service onboarding.
• Lead traffic-engineering initiatives to improve resiliency, load balancing, and availability.
• Define subscriber traffic-segmentation policies for consumer, enterprise, IoT, VoLTE, and VoWiFi.
• Support integration of Packet Core with IMS for VoLTE/VoWiFi.
• Implement and validate ePDG connectivity for VoWiFi.
• Troubleshoot user-plane and control-plane issues affecting mobile data and voice.
• Analyze GTP-C/U issues and optimize subscriber connectivity and performance.
• Develop migration plans for APN consolidation, modernization, and decommissioning.
• Create Low-Level Design documents, MOPs, rollback plans, and operation guides.
• Lead vendor and operations discussions during deployments and incidents.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement preventive actions.
• Optimize transport and user-plane performance including MTU, routing, and GTP transport.
• Validate new mobile services (VoLTE, VoWiFi, IoT, M2M) across networks.
• Produce testing, validation evidence, and service-readiness documentation.
• Ensure stability during migrations and platform-decommissioning.
