Ericsson seeks a Packet Core Integration Engineer to support design, deployment, integration, configuration, upgrades and troubleshooting for 4G and 5G packet core elements for operators in the Americas. You will engage with customers, work on deployments and optimizations using Linux, TCP/IP, containers (Kubernetes, OpenStack) and virtualization.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience with 4G elements, potential 5G exposure, and collaboration within a distributed team.

Formación

• Bachelor of Engineering or related field qualification.
• Up to 3 years’ telecom experience with at least 1 year of external customer management.
• Business English at level B2-C1 or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience deploying, integrating, configuring and troubleshooting 4G elements (MME, EPG, SAPC, DSC).
• Knowledge of 5G elements (AMF, UPF, SMF, PCF, SC); healthchecks and deployments/upgrades desirable.
• Kubernetes knowledge and practical experience.
• Ability to work with teams locally and globally.
• Willingness to travel outside Mexico and adapt to Pacific Time working hours.

Responsabilidades

• Provide service delivery to telecommunication operators in North and South America.
• Perform system integration, rollout, optimization and troubleshooting for 4G/5G packet core elements.
• Apply knowledge of Linux, TCP/IP, containers (Kubernetes, OpenStack) and virtualization to enable data capability.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers to improve profitability and processes.
• Interact closely with customers and stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
• Drive and influence exciting, results‑oriented projects and remove barriers during integrations.
• Share knowledge within the team and continuously learn to advance careers.
