Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Game Designer based in Mexico for a major live mobile title. You will shape characters, progression systems, events, combat updates, and other features from concept to implementation, balancing a data-driven approach with creative execution.

You will work with art, engineering, production, and design teams in a highly autonomous, globally distributed environment to sustain a high-quality content pipeline and a compelling player experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated design experience for live, hero-driven mobile games.
• Strong understanding of game balance and player motivation.
• Hands-on with Unity and internal tooling.
• Analytical mindset using data and feedback to refine designs.
• Excellent communication within global, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to influence stakeholders with evidence-based reasoning.
• Experience designing live-ops calendars, events, and battles passes.

Responsibilities

• Own complex features and content from concept to data implementation.
• Architect gameplay systems to support long-term engagement.
• Refine economy, loops, and combat meta for balance.
• Use data and feedback to guide iterative improvements.
• Create clear design docs detailing purpose and mechanics.
• Present concepts to stakeholders with evidence-based arguments.
• Provide peer feedback to raise team quality.
• Collaborate with production on scope and delivery.
