Job summary

Nextpower is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Services to lead and coordinate the Project Management Team in Mexico, ensuring projects align with schedules, budgets, and quality standards while meeting customer expectations.

You will manage strategic programs and Tier 1 customers, working with cross-functional teams across Commercial, Engineering, and Supply Chain to drive execution and governance in LATAM. This role is onsite in Mexico City and requires fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering field.
• 8+ years of experience managing industrial, energy, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading project teams or supervising professionals.
• Strong understanding of project management concepts, risk management, and operational execution.
• Fluency in English and Spanish for collaboration with LATAM and U.S. teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Project Management Team in Mexico to ensure projects meet schedules, budgets, quality, and customer expectations.
• Manage strategic projects and Tier 1 customers, serving as the primary point of contact for issues and executive decisions.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate project health, performance, and financial impact.
• Lead weekly project review meetings and communicate objectives, risks, and actions to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Legal, customers, and suppliers to support execution.
