Job summary

Delinea is seeking a Senior Network and Cloud Security Engineer to define and mature enterprise security controls across on-prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments in a Mexico City hybrid setting. You will own firewall and cloud security policies, drive detections-as-code, and collaborate with IT and Cloud Engineering to harden access and configurations.

Requirements include 5+ years in security engineering, strong scripting ability, and experience with Azure/AWS networks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
5+ years in enterprise network/security engineering.
Experience securing Azure and/or AWS environments and cloud networking.
Proficient in scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash) for security tooling.
Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Define security requirements and standards for network and cloud controls.
Design and improve cloud security capabilities across Azure and AWS.
Review firewall rules, architecture changes, and cloud configs for policy compliance.
Monitor controls, perform audits, and drive remediation.
Develop detection rules and playbooks; integrate telemetry with SIEM.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security in processes.
Evaluate and operationalize security products and services; support incident response.
