AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong Airflow and dbt expertise to support Medallion Architecture, enhance pipeline reliability, and migrate ETL jobs into orchestrated Airflow DAGs within a modern Snowflake data stack. You will build complex DAGs using Python, audit dbt for performance and cost, and ensure zero downtime for downstream BI tools during infrastructure changes.

Eastern Time overlap for daily standups is preferred.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Hands-on with Airflow and dbt in production.
• Strong Git and CI/CD practices for data projects.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Implement bronze/silver/gold data layering in Snowflake with architecture guidance.
• Build automated tests and failure alerts across Paradime and Airflow.
• Migrate scheduled Paradime jobs to Airflow DAGs.
• Maintain governance for pipelines touching PII data.
• Translate dbt schedules into dynamic Airflow DAGs.
• Ensure zero downtime for downstream BI tools during changes.
• Collaborate with Lead Data Engineer on the modern data stack.
