AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our data platform team. You will design and implement robust ETL architectures using Python, Airflow, and dbt, ensuring zero downtime for BI tools and guiding Paradime integration within a Snowflake stack.

You will collaborate on bronze/silver/gold modeling, automate tests and failure alerts, and optimize pipelines for performance and cost, while aligning with governance and security for PII data in a modern data stack.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Hands-on Apache Airflow / Astronomer in production.
• dbt Core expertise with CI/CD patterns.
• Strong Git & Data CI/CD experience.
• Production data engineering background with Python and SQL.

Responsabilidades

• Support bronze/silver/gold layering across Snowflake with architecture input.
• Build automated testing and failure alerting for ETL and orchestration.
• Migrate Paradime jobs into orchestrated Airflow DAGs.
• Work within data governance and access controls for PII data.
• Translate dbt schedules into scalable Airflow DAGs with modern patterns.
• Maintain integration points between Paradime and Airflow in production.
• Audit dbt and pipelines to identify bottlenecks and reduce compute costs.
• Collaborate to evolve data stack for AI semantic layers and downstream consumption.
• Establish automated error handling, alerting and recovery routines.
• Ensure no downtime or data loss for downstream BI tools during changes.
