AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to advance a modern Snowflake data stack, implement Medallion architecture, and harden pipelines with automated testing and alerting.

You will migrate ETL jobs to Airflow DAGs, audit dbt code for performance and cost, and ensure zero downtime for downstream BI tools during infrastructure changes. You will collaborate with the Lead Data Engineer, build durable Python-based DAGs, and enforce data governance on PII data while enabling AI semantic

Formación

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Hands-on production experience with Apache Airflow/Astronomer.
• dbt Core architecture expertise including macros, packages, and CI/CD patterns.
• Advanced Git and Data CI/CD with automated regression testing.
• Proficient in Python and SQL for data pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Support Bronze/Silver/Gold layering in Snowflake with architecture input.
• Build automated tests and failure alerting across ETL and orchestration.
• Migrate Paradime jobs into Airflow DAGs.
• Work with data governance for PII data pipelines.
• Translate dbt schedules into dynamic Airflow DAGs using @task decorators.
• Maintain Paradime-Airflow integration points in production.
• Audit dbt codepaths to identify bottlenecks and reduce costs.
• Assist Lead Data Engineer to adapt stack for AI semantic layers.
• Establish automated error handling and recovery across pipelines.
• Ensure no downtime or data loss for downstream BI tools.
