Job summary

Carter's Inc. Mexico is seeking a Payroll professional to manage gross payroll processing across Retail, Corporate, and Nearshoring teams.

You will handle overtime, holidays, vacation premiums, and other payroll concepts while ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will collect attendance data, review incidences and leaves, calculate severance and final settlements at termination, and ensure tax withholdings and employer contributions align with Mexican regulations.

Payroll Processing:

Calculate gross payroll, including overtime, statutory holidays, vacation premium, and other applicable payroll concepts for Retail, Corporate, and Nearshoring employees.

Time & Attendance Management:

Collect, review, and validate attendance records, payroll incidences, and medical leaves for Retail, Corporate, and Nearshoring employees.

Termination Management:

Calculate severance payments, seniority premiums, and final settlements upon employee termination for Retail, Corporate, and Nearshoring employees.

Legal and Tax Compliance:

Calculate and process applicable income tax withholdings and employer contributions, ensuring compliance with Mexican labor and tax regulations.

Government Institution Administration:

Manage payroll-related processes and requirements with government institutions and platforms, including IDSE and FONACOT.

Payroll Reporting:

Analyze payroll information and prepare supporting workpapers for payroll accounting close and reconciliations

Payroll Projects:

Support and participate in the implementation and optimization of payroll systems and related processes.
