Job summary

Carter’s Inc. in Mexico is seeking a Payroll professional to support end-to-end payroll for Retail, Corporate, and Nearshoring employees. You will calculate gross payroll, manage attendance data, and ensure accurate deductions and withholdings.

You will collaborate with finance and HR, handle tax compliance and government submissions, support payroll systems projects, and provide accurate payroll reporting while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with Mexican regulations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Calculate gross payroll, including overtime, statutory holidays, vacation premium, and other applicable payroll concepts for Retail, Corporate, and Nearshoring employees.
• Collect, review, and validate attendance records, payroll incidences, and medical leaves for Retail, Corporate, and Nearshoring employees.
• Calculate severance payments, seniority premiums, and final settlements upon employee termination for Retail, Corporate, and Nearshoring employees.
• Calculate and process applicable income tax withholdings and employer contributions, ensuring compliance with Mexican labor and tax regulations.
• Manage payroll-related processes and requirements with government institutions and platforms, including IDSE and FONACOT.
• Analyze payroll information and prepare supporting workpapers for payroll accounting close and reconciliations
• Support and participate in the implementation and optimization of payroll systems and related processes.
