Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers, sales leadership and associates.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate.
• Able to stand and move about for extended periods of time with only short rest breaks.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with technology.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver the AEO Customer First selling standards to provide a positive customer experience and meet daily sales goals.
• Drive brand loyalty by informing customers about loyalty programs.
• Use company tools and technology to provide product knowledge and maximize sales.
• Support colleagues by sharing knowledge and aiding in customer interactions.
• Outfit customers with looks that reflect current trends and promotions.
• Promote AEO and aerie brands and introduce customers to additional brand channels.
• Process register transactions quickly and accurately according to cash control procedures.
• Restock returned merchandise to correct locations and label damaged items appropriately.
• Maintain neat, clean, and organized sales floor, cash wrap, fitting room, and stockroom.
• Handle shipment processing, floorsets, markdowns, replenishment, and backroom SOPs efficiently.
• Resolve customer concerns in line with policy and in partnership with leadership on escalations.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
