Job summary

ABB Robotics in Mexico seeks a Service Sales professional to drive service opportunities, expand Installed Base coverage, and promote ABB’s full service portfolio. You’ll build long-term customer relationships, respond to specific needs, and lead initiatives across upgrades, retrofits, and value-added solutions.

The role reports to the Service Sales Manager and operates in a hybrid work model with travel as needed, leveraging your knowledge of automation to grow profitable sales in the region

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical service sales in automation and robotics.
• Knowledge of the automotive market and general industry.
• Experience with sales management tools, such as Salesforce.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Penetrate the Installed Base by promoting upgrades, retrofits, and value-added solutions that benefit customers and ABB.
• Understand channel strategy, establish pricing, prepare sales plans, review performance, and propose recovery plans when needed.
• Generate service sales leads and develop new market opportunities by analyzing market trends.
• Act as a marketer and salesperson for ABB’s service products during campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, and customer meetings.
